How it works

What is a Go Oahu Card?

A Go Oahu Card is an attraction pass that gets you into 33 Oahu attractions plus one premium attraction for one low price.

How does a Go Oahu Card Work?
  • Just select how many days you want to sightsee — we offer 1, 3, 5, or 7-Day cards.
  • Your Go Oahu Card grants you admission to all 33 attractions for the number of days you bought the card for, plus 1 premium attraction on one of those days.
  • Simply present your pass at included attractions between 9:00am and 5:30pm.
  • Visiting your first attraction activates your card. Then, use it over a two-week period.
How will I receive my pass?

You can choose to receive your pass:

  • Instantly on your smartphone — the most popular choice. Includes a digital guidebook.
  • Instantly print at home — just print it and go. Includes a digital guidebook.
  • Physical Card via Mail. Includes a full-color guidebook.
  • Pick it up at one of our in-city pickup locations.
What are the premium attractions?

Included with your card, choose free admission to 1 of 4 premium attractions. When you arrive in Oahu, you can choose from HA Breath of Life - Dinner Show at the Polynesian Cultural Center, Dollar Rent A Car (Jeep Wrangler Special), Germaine's Luau or Kualoa Ranch Experience and Lunch Buffet.

What else does the pass include?

You'll get a guidebook with detailed attraction descriptions, hours of operation, and a map to help plan your itinerary. Plus extra dining, shopping and entertainment discounts to help you save even more along the way.

Frequently Asked Questions

What do you mean by calendar days over a 2 week period?

Your Go Oahu Card is valid for the number of days you bought the card for, and you can take up to two weeks to use your card.

For example, if you activate a 3-Day Go Oahu Card on a Monday, then your card will be good for that day and 2 more days in the next two weeks. If you decide to go sightseeing again that Friday, then you will have one day left to use, and so on.

Please note that these are calendar days, not 24-hour periods, so start your day early to get the most out of your card!

How do I "activate" my card?

Simply visit your first attraction!

How many days should I buy?

Most travelers visit between 2 and 3 attractions each day depending on individual preference. Our most popular card is the 3-Day card.

Is my card valid all day?

You can enter attractions until 5:30pm with the Go Oahu Card.

What is your refund policy?

We know sometimes travel plans change, even at the very last minute. That's why, if you don't end up activating and using your pass within a year of the purchase date, we'll give you a full refund. No questions asked.

Here's the best part: unlike our competitors, this built-in cancellation insurance comes with every card purchase — free of charge.

If you have any questions, or if you would like to initiate a refund anytime within 1 year of your purchase, please call our Customer Care Team at 800-887-9103. We'll tell you how you can return your non-activated card or pass.

Please note: Activated passes are non-refundable.

Which delivery method should I choose?
  • Instant delivery is the fastest option. You'll be able to access your Go Oahu Card from your email or on your phone immediately after you purchase.
With instant delivery you will receive a printable and mobile version of our guidebook.
  • Having your cards shipped in advance will save you time traveling to a pick up location when you get there. Note that transit times vary depending on shipping options. View delivery options.
  • With in-city pickup you can get a physical card and full-color printed guidebook without waiting for shipping. We will email you a voucher which can be redeemed for passes at one of our voucher redemption locations.
Do you ship Go Oahu Cards to hotels?

Sorry, we cannot ship to hotels because of delivery concerns.

View a list of in-city pickup locations where you can redeem your voucher for cards.

Where can I buy the cards in Oahu?

View a list of sales locations in Oahu. Note that in-city purchases are available for full price only.

Does a Go Oahu Card expire?

Yes. You have one year from the date of purchase to begin using your pass. After one year, it will expire.

How much will I save?

We’ve made it easy to compare the combined gate prices with the price of the Go Oahu Card, to see how much you could save. Try our Savings Calculator!

How many attractions can I visit in one day?

On a Go Oahu Card, you can visit as many attractions as you want in a day from 9:00am to 5:30pm.

Can I visit an attraction more than once?

In most cases, you can visit each attraction once per day. Some attractions are valid only once during the life of the pass. Please reference your guidebook for specific information on each attraction.

What is the age cut off for child cards?

Child cards are for children ages 3-12. Most attractions do not charge for children under 3 years old. However, there are some exceptions (especially children's museums and attractions geared toward very young travelers). If you have a child under 3 years old, please check with the attraction directly in advance. You may be charged at the gate.

Do I need to make reservations to visit the attractions?

Attractions that require a reservation will display this symbol on the guidebook page.

Some attractions require a credit card to hold a reservation. In these cases, your credit card will not be charged unless you do not show up for your reservation.

What happens if an attraction is closed or a tour is cancelled due to weather or other problem?

While we do our best to ensure that all attractions are available, events happen that are out of our control. The great thing about a Go Oahu Card is that there are so many attractions to choose from. If an attraction is closed, or cannot be visited for some reason, we know you'll find a fun alternative in your guidebook!

What do I do if my Go Oahu Card is lost or stolen?

Unfortunately, it cannot be replaced if it is lost or stolen. Please treat the card like cash.

What’s the catch?

There’s no catch. Go Oahu Card has a partnership with all of the participating attractions to make your visit to Oahu as memorable as possible and to help you save time and money.

I still have questions!

Comments about Smart Destinations Go Oahu Card:

We tried to use as many attractions as possible. Need to plan out your time well in order to get your $ worth. A few attractions assume that everyone stays in Waikiki. We couldn't use Haunama Bay snorkeling because it was too far out of the way. We stayed on the North Shore.

Comments about Smart Destinations Go Oahu Card:

We bought a 3 day pass for a 7 day visit to Oahu, and it was just enough for us. We wanted some days to "do our own thing" and some days to do activities and attractions from the card. We chose the PCC Dinner Show for our big ticket item, and it was fantastic. Our favorite attraction from the whole week, though, was the Makani Catamaran sail. Highly recommend! We chose the Movie Tour at Kualoa Ranch. We loved it, and were disappointed the Go Oahu Card only included one tour at Kualoa. We would have liked to do some of the other tours there. We visited quite a few of the museums, and found them interesting. We weren't really into water sports (paddle boarding, snorkling, etc), so those attractions were a waste for us, but I'm sure the majority of people love them. We planned to go visit the Dole Plantation, but heard it was not very interesting for adults (it's just the maze and train ride now), so that was a bust. Overall, it was a great card, but at the end of the week, I'm not sure we saved a whole lot over individual admission prices for what we did. I think people who use more of the water attractions probably get a much better value. We would buy another Go Card in another city.

Comments about Smart Destinations Go Oahu Card:

I only wish I could have extended the time on the card without having to buy another one. I just couldn't accomplish as much in one day as I wanted to because the heat of July exhausted me. This card sent me all over the island and on many adventures that I probably would have missed planning on my own and I saved SOOOO much money using it. I will buy it again when I go back in 2 years. My only advice to buyers is learn the public transport system and you can save even more money. They are a super helpful and super cheap way to get all over the island and take advantage of the Go Oahu card activities.

Highly Recommend
By Richelie from Valencia, CA on

Comments about Smart Destinations Go Oahu Card:

It's our first time using this card and according to the review it sounds good. So #1) I check all the activities that we want and they are all in here. #2) calculate the gate fee and compare it to Oahu card. #3) put all those activities that are close together, activities that need car, activities that free transportation.#4) then make a reservation 2-3 weeks before your flight. We stay in Oahu for 2 weeks and we bought the 7 day Oahu card. I made my itinerary for straight 7 days, insert everything I could insert for one day. it's a hectic schedule but we all have fun,. We're the kind of person who loves out door. Family of 7 who recently travel on June 28, 2014, SAVE a lot of money on this Oahu card. Can you believe if I say "we SAVE $3,000"!!! Yes, we did! That's why I recommend 3 of my friends already and also guide them on their itinerary. The only thing we didn't like is snorkeling at the north shore. We love snorkeling at hanauma bay, kayaking, stand up paddle, wet in wild, hiking, catamaran sailing, and ohhh the Kualoa ranch seacreat island plus the sailing again. it's an AWSOME vacation that we had!

A littel dispointed
By steffy192 from Mass on
Pros:
Not All Are Accepted
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about Smart Destinations Go Oahu Card:

I bought this because there were 2 things I really wanted to do and it was cheaper to buy the pass than to pay for both with the regular price....and also all the other attractions. When I bought the card there was swimming with the dolphins as an attraction. I was excited and lookign forward to it. when I called to make a reservation I was told that was no longer accepted. I was very disapointed!! Other than that I was happy. If you buy one don't get your heart set on doing something because it may not be accepted anymore.

Comments about Smart Destinations Go Oahu Card:

Good for family with kids and on schedule looking for activities to do. Things that aren't so great for us is that we like schedule free vacation. Although we tried to book activities, half of time that timing was not right for us or sold out cause late booking. I only used 2 days but we purchased 3-day passes. I do not wish to buy this again.
