In a 130-acre stretch of land overlooking Cape Cod Bay, costumed role players in traditional dress, and working artisans recreate 17th-century English and Native American communities. As part of this tour, you'll also be treated to an up-close look at the Mayflower II, docked nearby.

A trip to Plimoth Plantation & Mayflower II is like taking a trip back in time to the early days of American colonial civilization. This authentically-reproduced colony and ship provide a real look into the lives of the Pilgrims and Native Americans when the two first met. Plimoth Plantation is a living history experience that features highly educated and knowledgeable costumed interpreters, as well as modern day artisans. You will leave with a greater respect for the early inhabitants of this once harsh environment, and understand the challenges faced by the earliest English settlers and their Wampanoag neighbors.
