Just a short subway ride from Manhattan brings you to one of the world's oldest and largest museums: the Brooklyn Museum. Follow up your visit with a stroll through the awe-inspiring 52-acre botanical garden. The stunning Beaux Arts building alone is worth the trip!

Housed in a 560,000 square-foot building, the permanent collection of the Brooklyn Museum represents virtually all the world’s cultures, ranging from the ancient to the contemporary. The museum prides itself on its long tradition of acquiring both Western and non-Western art. Its collections contain thousands of pieces, including African Art, Arts of the Islamic World, Decorative Arts, European Art, Egyptian, Classical & Ancient Near Eastern Art, Arts of the Pacific Islands, Arts of the Americas, Asian Art, Photography, and the Elizabeth A. Sackler Center for Feminist Art.
