Through Friday, December 28 Enjoy the final weekend of Langston Hughes' song-play, The Black Nativity, at the Intiman Theatre. This longstanding tradition will feature performances by Total Experience Gospel Choir and the Black Nativity Choir. Through Saturday, December 29 Take the kids to see the final weekend of the Winter Celebration at the Woodland Park Zoo. The animals will all be receiving holiday-themed treats, so be sure and check out the schedule to see them all! Through Monday, December 31 It's also the final weekend of Yellowstone to Yukon: Freedom to Roam at the Burke Museum. First Night Celebration in Boston

Now, we Bostonians have plenty of New Year's parties to choose from, but Yahoo! Travel actually chose our fair city not for its bars and parties, but for a family-friendly tradition called First Night. This annual celebration has been going strong for 30 years and attracts more than a million people every year with live music and dance, Mardi Gras-style parades, ice sculptures, fireworks displays, and more.
