Sailing on the Makani Catamaran

Hey everyone, I’m beginning to upload videos all over the internet about the Go Card. You can find them on YouTube, Flickr, and other popular sites. We’re not going to make you scour the web, though. I’ll post them right here! Check out this video about the Makani Catamaran. The promotional footage they gave us included some cheesy background commercial that I also heard on the television in a commercial for acne treatment. No way was I going to use the same music, especially since we're only posting these videos to the internet. If you liked the video, leave a comment, or check out other Go Card videos at our YouTube page. … [Read more...]

Waikiki Hosts Spam Jam on May 3

Spam photo uploaded by janetgalore I admit it: when I heard about the 6th annual Waikiki Spam Jam, I pictured an angry mob of people complaining about the amount of junk in their email boxes. Au contraire, fellow travelers... Spam Jam actually celebrates Hawaii's love for that iconic canned meat product (Hawaii consumes almost seven million cans of Spam every year!). Last year's festivities attracted over 20,000 people. This year's event run 4 pm to 10 pm on Saturday, May 3. There's a canned food drive, live entertainment, and a Mr./Ms. Spam Hawaii contest. Sounds like fun! … [Read more...]

Seattle Welcomes Avenue Q

Avenue Q cast photo courtesy of The Paramount Puppets singing about politics, racism, and life in the city. It's an improbable combination, but somehow it works. I've seen Avenue Q twice and listened to the cast album countless more times, but I still can't get enough of this infectious musical comedy. It's the type of show that charms even people say they don't like musicals. Seattle's Paramount Theatre will present Avenue Q June 10-22, and I highly recommend checking it out. The story centers on Princeton, an eager graduate with a "BA in English" and no career prospects, Kate Monster, the adorable monster next door, and their neighbors (a lovable cast of monsters, people, and puppets). Tickets are available now through Ticketmaster. … [Read more...]

Swimming with Dolphins at the Miami Seaquarium

Hey everyone, I’m beginning to upload videos all over the internet about the Go Card. You can find them on Youtube, Flickr, and other popular sites. We’re not going to make you scour the web, though. I’ll post them right here! Check out this video about the Miami Seaquarium. While you can swim with the dolphins at the Seaquarium, Dolphin Harbor isn't included with the Go Miami Card. You can certainly watch the dolphins though! Like the video says, dolphins prefer Go Card customers either way, even those who just watch. If you like the video, leave a comment, or check out the other Go Card videos at our YouTube page. … [Read more...]

Go Carting, and “Go Carding,” at Fun Spot Action Park

Hey everyone, I'm beginning to upload videos all over the internet about the Go Card. You can find them on Youtube, Flickr, and other popular sites. We're no going to make you scour the web, though. I'll post them right here! Check out this first one about Fun Spot Action Park. We had a couple of videos sent to us from them: a standard promotional video, and a blooper reel. I decided to combine the two to reflect the fun attitude of the attraction itself. Leave a comment if you like it! … [Read more...]
