Kennedy Space Center Tourism

images

For an out-of-this-world experience in Central Florida, blast off with a tour of the Kennedy Space Center while you are visiting either Orlando or Miami. Since 1968, every single human space flight from the United States has launched from the Kennedy Space Center, a phenomena that makes it one of the most popular tourist destinations in Florida. The first thing guests will want to experience at the Kennedy Space Center is the Shuttle Launch Experience. The SLE provides a realistic simulation of a space shuttle’s 8 1/12 minutes ascent into orbit by using HD audiovisual effects and realistic seating effects that help wannabe astronauts experience what it would really be like to blast off from Earth at 17,500 mph and then look down to see the planet far below. The KSC also gives visitors the opportunity to break bread with some of the men and women who have gone into space as … [Read more...]

Whether you are planning to come to Boston in order to soak up some history, look at a college, take in a Red Sox game or just have a good old-fashioned visit in one America’s greatest cities, there are certainly a few Boston Vacation Tips that might make your trip a little bit easier. The first one of those is purchasing a Boston Attractions Pass in order to get free admission to 51 Boston different attractions for one low price, but the advice certainly doesn’t stop there. Long thought of as an “early city,” Boston actually extended the subway system’s hours earlier this month and now offers service between 12:30 a.m. and 3 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights. Although not everyone will necessarily be excited about this development, riders and visitors to the city have embraced the new hours and the program’s “Use it or lose it” mantra is certainly being taken to … [Read more...]

Discount Red Sox Tickets

bos-fenway-tickets

It’s the second week of April, the snow is gone for good (hopefully) and that means that baseball season will be going on for the six months or so for most teams and for a little bit longer for the skilled squads that end up in the playoffs. One of the preseason favorites to end up in the postseason is last year’s defending World Championship team – the Boston Red Sox. The Sox may have not started out so hot this season (they were 4-5 as of April 10), but all of the teams in their ultra-competitive division, the AL East, have started off in relatively the same fashion and it figures to be a race that may go all the way until the last weeks, or even days, of the season. If you’d like a chance to be part of the race this season, consider purchasing Discount Red Sox Tickets to go along with your Go Boston Card from Smart Destinations! As part of a special promotion for … [Read more...]

March Madness Travel Tips

imgres

When the NCAA March Madness tournament kicks off on March 18 and 19 at the UD Arena in Dayton, Ohio, you are going to want to have your bracket filled out and at the ready (possibly even laminated to prevent it from being ruined by spillage). Although we won’t know who is playing where until Selection Sunday on March 16, it’s a pretty safe bet that top teams like Wichita State, Duke, Florida, Villanova, Louisville, Virginia, Michigan and Arizona will all have high seeds and almost certainly advance to the second round – maybe even the third. Thankfully, we do know where those are going to be played. The second and third round games of the 2014 NCAA men’s basketball tournament will be held on March 20 and 22 at the Amway Center in Florida and on March 21 and 23 at the Viejas Arena in San Diego.
