William D. Bridgers, Managing Partner, Zon Capital Partners

Bill Bridgers is a Managing Partner and founding member of Zon Capital Partners.

Bill’s twenty plus years of business experience includes many years as a management consultant with a focus on telecommunications and large application development, before successfully transitioning to early stage private equity more than a decade ago.

Over the course of his consulting career, most of Bill’ consulting clients were telecommunications companies, technology vendors or large users of information technology systems.

Prior to the formation of Zon Capital, Bill was a partner and founder of Zon Partners an early stage investment and advisory company, and the predecessor to the Fund. Together with Don Perkins, he was responsible for venture transactions that resulted in several liquidity events for the firm’s investors.

Bill sits on the boards of AlignAlytics and Smart Destinations, and he holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Terrell Jones, Managing Principal, ON Inc.

As managing principal of ON, Inc, a consultancy he co-founded, Terry helps companies in their transition to the digital economy.

Previously, Terry founded and led the company as President and Chief Executive Officer from its founding until May 2002.

Terry helped found and served as its chairman until its sale to Priceline in 2013.

Terry also served as Chief Information Officer at Sabre Inc. and held a number of other executive roles over the course of his 24 years with the company.

Terry serves on the Board of Directors of Deem, Inc, Luxury Link, and Smart Destinations, and is a special venture partner with General Catalyst Partners. He is a graduate of Denison University.

Rob Murray, President, Skyword

As President of Skyword, Rob is responsible for the company’s go-to-market teams including sales, marketing, strategic services, and writer services.

Before joining Skyword, Murray was Global President of iProspect (now part of Dentsu), overseeing the growth and expansion of the brand in the USA and around the world. The agency grew to more than 1,725 employees in 55 offices across 40 global markets during his tenure.

He also served as CEO of iProspect US from 2007 to 2009 and President from 2000 to 2006, leading the company through numerous acquisitions and intense market growth.

Prior to iProspect, he served as a consultant for Bain & Company. Murray earned a master’s degree in business administration from Harvard University and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Carroll School of Management Honors Program at Boston College.

Glenn Rieger, General Partner, NewSpring Ventures and Partner, NewSpring Capital

Prior to joining NewSpring in 2004, Glenn was a co-founder and managing director of Cross Atlantic Capital Partners.

Previously, Glenn was a Senior Vice President for Safeguard Scientifics, a managing director of a boutique investment banking firm, and President and Chief Executive Officer of a $1 billion California savings bank.

Glenn sits on the Board of Directors of NitroSecurity, Profit Point and Smart Destinations and is an active leader in the Mid-Atlantic venture capital community.

He is a graduate of Colby College and has an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Brett Rome, General Partner, North Hill Ventures

For more than 15 years, Brett has worked closely with companies specializing in information technology and services, information services, and marketing automation.

Before joining North Hill Ventures in 1999, Brett was a Principal at Westbury Capital Partners, a private equity firm focused primarily on investments in telecommunications, health care, and information technology.

Prior to Westbury, Brett was a Principal at The Parthenon Group, a Boston-based strategy consulting firm.

Brett holds an M.B.A. from the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College, where he was an Edward Tuck Scholar, and an A.B., magna cum laude, from Princeton University.

Ted Stimpson, Chief Executive Officer, Smart Destinations

Ted is responsible for setting overall strategy and coordinating the resources necessary to execute it successfully. He has over a decade of experience scaling existing organizations.

He most recently served as CEO of Imagitas for 6 years where he delivered double digit topline growth and significant margin expansion (EBITDA grew 75%). During his tenure at Imagitas, Ted also developed the nation’s leading consumer-facing internet property servicing the moving life stage (

For 3 years prior to becoming CEO, Ted held various Sales leadership positions (including SVP of Sales) and grew revenue by $40 million.

Ted earned a BA from Harvard University and an MBA from The Wharton School.

He currently serves on the Board of Trustees for The Noble and Greenough School and is a member of YPO New England. Ted lives in Weston with his wife and three children.

Ken Surdan, Senior Vice President of Product, Constant Contact

Ken is a leader in profitably scaling product, technology and operations capabilities in high-growth, consumer web and SaaS business models.

He currently serves as Senior Vice President of Product at Constant Contact, where he oversees the company’s product development from conception to execution.

Previously, Ken held a number of senior leadership positions at both Fortune 100 companies and venture-backed startups.

His former roles include Vice President of Operations at the online games company Turbine, Senior Vice President of Technology at TripAdvisor, Chief Operating Officer at Smart Bargains and Chief Technology Officer at World Travel Holdings (formerly National Leisure Group.)

He holds an undergraduate degree from Boston University as well as a MBA from Babson College.
