Boston in Three Days

You could probably spend three weeks in Boston and still not get to everything that the Hub has to offer, but odds are you don’t have the time to do that. In order to help deal with that little slice of reality, the folks at Smart Destinations have created a schedule (and a card) to help you cram an extremely solid Beantown visit into just three days. The 3-Day Go Boston Card is simple, convenient (as you’ll see below) and also affordable!

That said, there’s also this Experience Boston in 3 Days itinerary that gives you myriad options for what you have to choose from in three days – everything from transportation and lodging to what attractions to see and where to eat. The recommendations in the Experience Boston in 3 Days itinerary might be good to keep in your mind, but the 3-Day Boston Go Card is probably what you want to have in your hand.

On Day 1 of your three-day excursion, you’ll want to have your eyes open and your camera at the ready as you take in the sights. The Hop-On/Hop-Off Boston Trolley Tour will bring you around the city and get you acclimated. At trolley stop #6, you’ll want to hop off and take a Swan Boat Ride before re-boarding. After that, temporarily leave the tour for a little bit longer as you take a Boston Bike Tour at trolley stop #1. Once you’ve burned rubber to you heart’s content, hop back on the trolley and keep going or ride home.

The rich history of the city of Boston will be the focus of Day 2. You’ll walk the Freedom Trail   and visit the Museum of Fine Arts, but the real star of the show will be going on a Fenway Park Tour. There’s nothing quite like walking in the hallowed home of the Boston Red Sox – as you’ll find out.

Day 3 is dedicated to enjoying the waterfront. Go on a Boston Whale Watch, stroll through the world famous New England Aquarium and finish things off with a cruise on the USS Constitution.

Normally all of the attractions that the card has to offer would cost you $214.10 to attend but, at $119.99, the 3-Day Boston Go Card saves you over 90 dollars. It’s also incredibly handy because the card can instantly deliver itself onto your smartphone for easy access and continuous reference. The 3-Day Boston Go Card is convenient and the price is certainly right. (Even though it is as detailed as it is, the Experience Boston in 3 Days itinerary can’t claim that.)
