Miami is also home to numerous cutting edge art museums, including the World Erotic Art Museum, the Bass Museum of Art, and the Pérez Art Museum Miami (formerly known as the Miami Art Museum).

There are also a number of smaller art museums affiliated with local universities, such as the Wolfsonian Museum and the Lowe Art Museum.

A visit to Vizcaya Museum and Gardens will transport you to America’s Gilded Age. It’s always enjoyable in the winter months, when the lush subtropical forest surrounding the estate is at its fines.

The historic mansion, manicured gardens, and view of the Bay make for a relaxing afternoon outing.

Relax on the Beaches

Miami-South-BeachNo, we didn’t forget about the #1 reason you’re visiting Miami this year.

Soaking up the sun on the beach all day (while protecting your skin with sun block, of course) is probably one of the activities you’re most looking forward to, and we don’t blame you!

If you’ve got the winter blues, it’s nothing a game of beach volleyball or a quick dip in the ocean can’t fix.
