April 2, 2007 — Just in time for millions of tourists to descend on New York for the busy summer travel season, visitors will have a new option for catching the city’s premier attractions, from The Metropolitan Museum of Art to the Top of the Rock™ Observation Deck.

New York City Explorer Pass opens for sale on April 4, 2007. This follows the resounding success of the sister product line known as the Go Visitor Card™, currently available for use in 10 cities across the country, including Boston, Chicago, San Diego, Oahu, and others. The pass is the latest addition to a family of attraction passes offered by Smart Destinations, the premier provider of attraction passes in top U.S. travel destinations. The pass allows visitors to select from a list of 15 top attractions and gain admission to their choice of any three or five of those attractions.

The “five choice” pass is offered at a low introductory rate of $99 per Adult and the “three choice” pass will intro at a low $65 per Adult. The pass is valid for up to 30 days once used at any attraction, so locals and visitors alike can benefit from the flexibility. It also includes savings of 10-50% on Broadway theater tickets, Madame Tussauds NY, souvenir shopping, and more.
