If you’ve never heard of HONK!, you are probably not alone. That said, there are new types of street bands that are emerging across the country and around the world and the HONK! Festival 2013 is a celebration of the music that is being played by these fresh new acts. Encompassing the style of New Orleans second line brass bands, European Klezmer, Balkan and Romani music and the Brazilian Afro Bloc tradition into one package, the tunes that these “honkers” play are meant to enliven, engage and embolden their audience. Boston Attraction Closings for Government Shutdown

As you are probably are aware of at this point, certain factions of the United States Government have become involved in a slight disagreement that has resulted in many parts of the government being closed until further notice. While the shutdown will obviously be temporary, there are some affected areas in the interim. (Don't worry, there will be still be plenty of fun things for you and your family to do.) Street Pianos Boston Festival
