A highly anticipated time of the year for members and supporters of the LGBTQ community – Pride Month is kicking off in beautiful Orlando! Last year’s Come Out With Pride celebration was attended by more than 100,000 visitors, and even more are expected to turn out this year for the festivities to support the movement of increased solidarity and awareness. While the entire month hosts a bevy of Pride events, the official Come Out with Pride day is October 5th – making it the most action-packed weekend to provide the optimal Pride experience! Headed to San Francisco for Pride 2010?

This year promises to be a memorable one as San Francisco celebrates its 40th SF Pride Event with the theme of "40 and Fabulous." Not surprisingly given the Bay Area's rich history of Gay rights and culture, the "40 and Fabulous" event made it onto Smart Destinations list of the top five pride celebrations where travelers can get their pride on.
