While San Diego is notorious for its sunny weather year round, the summer is an especially exciting time to visit the city. Unlike other southern parts of the country, temperatures are bearable in July, usually settling in the high 70s. One of the most exciting San Diego attractions to take part in this summer is the Big Bay Boom Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular, which is known as one of the biggest and best fireworks displays in the country. For the Big Bay Boom, fireworks are launched simultaneously from four barges strategically located throughout San Diego’s North Bay starting at 9 PM.
