Your teenager might not want to go to a lot of places, but it’s a pretty safe bet that Miami isn’t one of them. There are so many things to do in Miami, even the most petulant teenager will have a tough time claiming to be bored.
Most teenagers can’t drive cars yet, but at Fun Spot USA they can get behind the wheel and cruise one of the park’s four Go-Kart tracks. Let your teens begin at the Cadet Track and start working their way up to next level at the Commander, a 600-foot long course with a high point of eight feet and a surprisingly steep 30 degree slope. Experienced drivers way want to tackle Blue Conquest Track or the Thrasher. (With a name like Thrasher you know it’s good.) Fun Spot USA is also full of attractions like Bumper Boats, Bumper Cars and an oversized Ferris wheel called the Revolver.
Not all of the top things to do in Miami are car-related, but there’s definitely more than one. For car enthusiasts, taking the Daytona International Speedway Tour is certainly on the list. Explore one of the most famous tracks in the country with a privately guided tour through all of the historic areas that make up the site of the Daytona 500. Guests will have a chance to see places that race fans will recognize from TV like the Drivers Meeting Room, NASCAR Sprint Cup Series garages and Gatorade Victory Lane. If you’re lucky, they’ll be testing cars and revving engines during your visit!
Your experience at WonderWorks begins with you walking into a laboratory where something is terribly wrong – it’s upside down! Scientists at a top secret laboratory in the Bermuda Triangle created a tornado that was strong enough to rip the lab from its foundation and deposit it on top of a warehouse in south Florida. To see what it’s like on the inside (and all the secret experiments contained therein), you and your teen will have to visit…
