Dillsboro River Company offers Rafting Trips and Tubing Rentals on the Tuckaseegee 'Tuck' River. As a Class I-II whitewater river, it's a wonderful option for families looking for a fun-filled day. It is also dam controlled, making it warmer than most other rafting areas.
The following activities are offered with the Go Blue Ridge Card:
- Guide-Assisted Rafting: Pilot your own raft as Dillboro's team of guides leads you down the river. Reservations required. Duration: 2-2 1/2 hours.
- Raft & Duck Rentals: For solo fun, check out the Ducks (inflatable Kayaks) which hold 1-2 people each. Or make it a family adventure with a raft that can accommodate 4-5 people. Duration: 2-2 1/2 hours.
- Tubing Adventure: Perfect for those little ones just wanting to be on the river. Duration: 30-45 minutes.
