Description

Mystery Hill, a family oriented entertainment complex, is devoted to enriching the lives of young and old alike. Come see where gravity defies the laws of nature. The Mystery House features a stronger than average pull to the north which causes some of the basic laws of physics to work differently than normal. You can see water flow uphill and a ball roll uphill! The Hall of Mystery will keep you guessing as you try to figure out several fascinating experiments such as the 'Spooky Spigot.' Included in your ticket is admission to Mystery Hill's two museums. In the home of the founders of Appalachian State University they have created The Native American Artifacts Museum, which features over 50,000 Native American artifacts. The upper floor features The Appalachian Heritage Museum, which is a look at what life would have been like in the early 1900's. Spend the day at Mystery Hill. It's a great place to visit!

Note:

Construction occurs on 321 between Lenoir and Blowing Rock on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from noon-2:00 pm. Allow for delays and detours.

US 221N to 321N, located on US 321 between Boone and Blowing Rock. From Blue Ridge Parkway, exit at milepost 291 (Boone exit).

Redemption Instructions:

Included admission with the Go Blue Ridge Card. Although Mystery Hill may occasionally be open later, the Go Blue Ridge Card is only accepted until 5:30 pm. During all other times, standard admission will apply.

The Go City Card is accepted until 5:30pm unless otherwise noted; during all other times standard admission will apply.
