Description

Good clean dirty fun! Rose Creek Mine Gift & Rock Shop is the place where miners find rubies, sapphires, garnets, emeralds, tourmaline, kyanite and so much more in a family friendly environment. Come and dig your own bucket in the mining tunnel. Gem kits, lapidary supplies and jewelry are available in the rock shop. Help is offered for beginners and all equipment is supplied. The mine has a covered flume line, clean restrooms, covered picnic tables and snacks.

Last new miner admitted at 4:00 pm.

April-October: Monday-Saturday, 9:00 am-5:00 pm;
Closed Sunday. Last new miner accepted at 4:00 pm.

Driving:

From Hwy 441, take Sanderstown Road to Hwy 28. Turn Left at T. Take 1st right onto Bennett Rd, first right onto Rose Creek Rd, first left onto Lyle Downs Rd. Located on the left.
