The Go Boston Card is Your Ticket
The Card gets you in to each and every one of the included attractions. Simply choose how many days you need. The Card is your ticket to as many of the included attractions as you want for the number of days you selected. The first attraction visited will activate the days purchased on your Card. For instance, a 3-day card activated on a Monday would be valid for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
It is Easy To Use
Every attraction covered by the Go Boston Card is ready for your visit. Simply hand the Card to the ticket agent, they will swipe it, hand it back, and let you in. For certain tours, its best to phone in advance to reserve a seat, but otherwise the process is the same.
It Saves You Money
The cost of buying a ticket at each attraction and tour can add up quickly. With the Go Boston Card, you pay one price to access all the included attractions. And while 70 attractions are covered by the price of the card, most people only need to visit a few to get their savings. See an example of how you can save.
Have it Mailed or Pick it Up
We have multiple shipping options to get you your Go Boston Card and guidebook before you travel. But if time is tight, simply select "In City Pick-Up" at checkout and it will be waiting for you when you to arrive! You can find directions and a map for our local pick-up locations HERE.
Enjoy the Extras
Customers buy the Go Boston Card because it saves them money. But they love the Go Boston Card for all the included extras. There is the guidebook to help you plan your days, exclusive restaurant and shopping discounts, and best of all: VIP entry at many attractions that lets you skip the lines.
Each Person Gets Their Own Card
If you are travelling with family or friends, don't worry about a loss of freedom. Each person is free to take their card and use it as they wish - you don't have to stick together if interests or energy levels vary.
What's the Catch?
There isn’t one. The attractions charge us special rates not available to the public. That allows us to price the Go Boston Card at a level that saves you money. That’s all there is to it.

Great way to save money and not be afraid to do things! Your wallet will appreciate it. Everyone at the sites we visited were extremely friendly. One con - destinations don't stay open late - after 5 pm. Watch your time.

Comments about Smart Destinations Go Boston Card:

Should be able to add on more days once you have purchased it. We bought a 3 day pass and then when we got to Cape Cod realized we could use it for several more things so I wanted to purchase two more days and I could not do it. Also when we were in Boston we tried to book whale watching with the company listed on the go Boston card and they were completely full the whole time we were in Boston. So make reservations before you leave home because you will not be able to get a reservation even 4 days ahead of time.

Great Family Value
By Roni from Bohemia, New York on 7/16/2010
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Comments about Smart Destinations Go Boston Card:

I read other comments before buying the passes and really planned out my trip. We bought the 3 day pass and were in town for 5 days. We did all the more expensive tours and activities with the pass. Museums and tours take a considerable amount of time, so planning is necessary to get the most of the pass. We also planned to see sites in the same area, so we would not waste time traveling. Some tourist sites are free, or require a donation, and we saved those for the days our pass was not in effect. The 3 day pass was a great value. Best advice--research the places you want to go to, check admission fees and locations to determine where you'd like to go to determine if the pass is cost effective for you.

Go Boston Card
By Exhausted from Canada on 7/16/2010
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about Smart Destinations Go Boston Card:

The card was great value for the money, unfortunately we found it very stressful finding all the ticket outlets that would accept the Boston card, i.e. one place to retrieve the card, another place for the ticket for the trolley, another place to retrieve the ticket for the Duck boat etc.

Smart Destinations Response: We realize that the need to get tickets for the trolley BEFORE you get on it is a pain. Unfortunately the way the technology currently works there is no way around this. We are working on a solution, but for now you do have to pick up trolley tickets first.

Comments about Smart Destinations Go Boston Card:

Did so many things we wouldn't have without the Boston Go Card and guide. As first time visitors this gave us quick directions to the best sights and saved us paying full price. Saved over $200.00 off gate prices for the venues we visited. Would do it again.

Not bad overall if you plan...
By Amber Verified Reviewer from Canada on 7/15/2010
Pros:
The ferry to PTown
Cons:
Trolley
Best Uses:
Acquarium Museums
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Comments about Smart Destinations Go Boston Card:

Getting tickets to the trolley or the duck tours is sticky - you need to go to specific locations that aren't central or easy to find. You really have to read the guidebook and plan for this unless you want to be frustrated (which we didn't do until we were trying to find our way around). Despite that the value was great and we saw a lot more of the city than I've seen on previous visits.

Smart Destinations Response: Good advice -- we also put the information on how to pick up trolley and duck tickets on the site -- you can see it under "important info" when you go to the trolley and duck pages on our site.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about Smart Destinations Go Boston Card:

Not what I expected

Smart Destinations Response: Wish we had more info on what you didn't like. Given all the attractions that accept the card, we feel like there isn't much in the way of "bang" missing!
