Comments about Smart Destinations Hop-On/Off Beantown Trolley:
The trolley picked us up at our hotel in the early morning and returned back in the early evening. It was great, no driving in traffic. Our first trip to Boston was a success in part due to the Beantown Trolley. We learned alot and were able to make educated decisions on what we wanted to go visit and spend time doing.

Comments about Smart Destinations Hop-On/Off Beantown Trolley:
We picked up tickets for the trolley just because we happened upon a booth to do so at Faneiul Hall. We used the trolley to ride by stops to see if they were worth taking. The Fenway stop was conveneient for us, though we ended up going to find a subway eventually anyway. The every 20 or 30 minutes timeframe didn't work out very well.

Comments about Smart Destinations Hop-On/Off Beantown Trolley:
I think this is a great way to get an overview of the city. I like trolley tours when I visit a new place because I get to see the sights and decide what to go back to. It does take a while to do the whole loop. While it's FREE with the Go Boston Card, it's not the fastest way to get around, but it's a nice feature to be able to jump on and off. The drivers are all really nice, but sometimes they are not consistent in the presentation (you can have more than one driver each if you jump on and off) Overall, I recommend this tour

Comments about Smart Destinations Hop-On/Off Beantown Trolley:
1st trolley we rode had no PA system. 2nd had a wonderful guide! After 1pm the traffic brought us to a crawl in the heat, with no AC. We only saw 1/2 the sites we had hoped to in the 2 days with the tickets. After 3 we just had to ride the subways. The other trolley line came more frequently and ran much later than the 4:30 stop time with Bean Town Trolleys. It made it difficult to plan to go to the all the stops for fear you couldn't get back to start point.

Comments about Smart Destinations Hop-On/Off Beantown Trolley:
This tour was a great way for first-timers like us to familiarize ourselves with Boston. The subway system is great, but the trolley lets you see all of downtown without the hassle of driving in crazy traffic. The tour guide was knowledgeable in pointing out historical sites and many other points of interest. One ride around the whole route is probably sufficient. If you just need to get from point A to point B, use the subway.

we really enjoyed the tour but our tour guide sent us to the saltly crab restrurant and it was pricy and not good. Next time I think we will go with what we were told. The no name restrurant I think would have been better.
