Located in the heart of Boston’s Theater District, just steps from the Boston Common, the Charles Playhouse is Boston’s long-time home of Blue Man Group. The world-famous bald and blue men that comprise the Blue Man Group create a thrilling mix of music, comedy and multimedia theatrics. Stunningly visual, hysterically funny, wildly inventive and interactive, the Blue Man Group is a totally unique form of entertainment. The blissful party atmosphere created at their live events has become the trademark of a Blue Man Group experience.

GREEN LINE TO BOYLSTON T STOP: When you come above ground, you will be on the corner of Boylston Street and Tremont Street. Follow the flow of traffic on Tremont Street to Stuart Street. Make a right on Stuart St. and then take the first left on to Warrenton Street.
ORANGE LINE TO NEW ENGLAND MEDICAL CENTER T STOP: Exit via the Don Bosco Technical High School exit (not the Washington Street exit). When you come above ground, you will be on Tremont Street. Cross the street and go through the playground. There is a small underpass, the Charles Playhouse is through the underpass.

Please call the Charles Playhouse directly to inquire about general ticket availability, at 617-426-6912; then press '0'. You must present the provided voucher at the Charles Playhouse to obtain your seating assignment and ticket. Seats are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis at the time of voucher redemption. For the best available seats, it is suggested that you redeem your voucher as far in advance as possible. Blackout dates: All Saturday 7pm/8pm performances and Halloween (10/31).
IMPORTANT: cancellations are not allowed within 48 hours of the reserved performance Outside of 48 hours customers should contact Smart Destinations directly in the event of cancellation - and a 5% cancellation fee will apply
Note: Blue Man Group appeals to all ages, but children under five (5) years of age are not permitted. Everyone, regardless of age, must have a ticket to enter the theater. Please be aware that the show contains dynamic live music and utilizes a state-of-the-art sound system--there is a lot of music and percussion in the performance, as well as use of a strobe light (for just under five minutes). Since noise and strobe lighting can affect patrons of all ages, we suggest you ensure that this would be acceptable for everyone attending the performance.
