Description

The Boston Common Frog Pond Skating Rink is located in the oldest park in the United States, in the heart of historic Beacon Hill. Continuous public skating in the winter season and skate sizes ranging from 3 year olds to adult make it fantastic fun for the whole family. Whether you are a skater or a spectator, or sitting and snacking at one of the 20 picnic tables, good times are guaranteed at the Frog Pond. Only minutes from public transportation and accessible on foot from many parts of the city, the Frog Pond is always full of fresh air and fun for everyone. Enjoy the Frog Pond in the summer as well. When it's hot and the kids are restless, stroll over to the Frog Pond and give them some time to splash in the wading pool. Even the youngest children enjoy splashing in the long, shallow pool while the older kids love shrieking their way through the gushing fountain. Grab an ice cream cone from the concession stand and a spot on a shady bench and watch the kids enjoy themselves.

(except Monday when the rink closes at 5:00 pm)

Included ice skating admission and skate rental with the Go Boston Card. The Go Boston Card is accepted daily until 5:30 pm; during all other times standard admission will apply.
