Description

Haunted Footsteps Ghost Tour is proud to celebrate its 10th anniversary as Salem's most haunting attraction. Experience Salem's longest running ghostly tour with the city's 'spirited' tour leader! The knowledgeable and charismatic licensed ghostly guides combine captivating storytelling, macabre humor and stellar presentation to cleverly convey Salem's authentic haunted history. Delve into the Witch City's intriguing and often sordid past on their highly recommended 90 minute nightly strolls as their costumed narrators recount by lantern light true tales of documented paranormal activity, chilling cemeteries, Colonial witchcraft, Victorian murder and share their own personal encounters with Salem's dearly departed! This tour is leisurely paced and tour distance covered is approximately one half mile.

Driving:

Route 95 to 128 to Route 114 East. Follow signs for Regional Visitor Center. From the Regional Visitor Center on New Liberty Street, turn left and take a quick right onto the Essex Street pedestrian walkway. Proceed one block to Trolley Depot store. Turn left here onto Central Street and we are five doors down on the right. Parking is available in the large parking garage opposite the Regional Visitor Center and metered parking (free after 5PM) is readily available throughout the downtown district within easy walk of our 8 Central Street office.

Public Transportation:

Take the T: MBTA purple commuter line to Salem Depot. Follow signs to regional visitor center; we are one block down from here on cobblestone walkway. At Trolley Depot store, turn onto Central Street and we are five doors down on the right.

Tickets may be purchased at 8 Central Street, Salem office. Discount not valid during the month of October.

The Go City Card is accepted until 5:30pm unless otherwise noted; during all other times standard admission will apply.
