This fully narrated 45-minute tour of Boston's inner harbor brings you up close and personal with 'Old Ironsides' at her home in the Charlestown Navy Yard and allows you the option to disembark for a tour of the famous ship and accompanying Naval Museum. The cruise also highlights the waterfront's other historical and contemporary landmarks, including Old North Church, the Bunker Hill Monument, and the wharfs that have been transformed into some of the city's most luxurious harborside residences.

Old Ironsides is the oldest active US Navy ships in the country and was undefeated in battle. The nickname for the ship comes from the ship’s ability to withstand any cannon shots fired at the ship’s hull during the War of 1812 and was allegedly given to her by the sailors of one of her British opponents.

As you tour the Boston Inner Harbor be on the lookout for sights such as the Boston Tea Party Boat and enjoy the feeling of being out on the water with the wonderful views of the city of Boston surrounded by the variety of watercraft that regularly ply the harbor.

Daily, 10:30 am-4:30 pm, Cruises depart every hour on the half hour;
April 11-November 29, Every 60 minutes

Driving:

Take I-93 S to exit 24A (Government Center), keeping right on off-ramp (Government. Center) or I-93 N to exit 23 (Government Center). Follow signs to Aquarium Wharf. BHC is located between the Aquarium and Marriott Hotel.

Public Transportation:

Take the T: Blue Line to Aquarium stop.

Redemption Instructions:

Please present your Go Boston Card (in-person) to any ticket taker at the Ticket Center on Long Wharf. It will be validated, and returned with a boarding pass for the cruise.

You may not present your Go Boston Card for a ticket for cruising on a future date.
