Lights, Camera, Action! Experience Boston's movie magic as you explore the famous Boston Movie Mile on this fun and interactive walking tour. Learn behind-the-scenes trivia and inside gossip as you visit filming hotspots made famous by over 30 movies and TV shows such as The Departed, Good Will Hunting, Cheers, Ally McBeal, Boston Legal, and more.

Sit on the famous park bench from Good Will Hunting. Have a drink at the Bull & Finch Pub, the inspiration for Cheers. Tour guests receive a special discount on food and merchandise. Catch a glimpse of the building where Ally McBeal was filmed. See filming locations from the movie The Departed.


Did you know that Boston is the home of nearly 400 movies and TV shows? With its unique charm and history, Boston has long been a movie making haven for Hollywood producers.

Boston Movie Tours enables guests to ‘See Boston thru Hollywood’s Eyes.’ Our goal is to provide guests with a fun and entertaining experience by bringing these movies and TV shows to life.

Cost without the card:
Adult (13+): $21.00
Child (3-12): $11.00
Hours:
May-June: Friday-Sunday, 2:00 pm;
July-August: Thursday-Monday, 2:00 pm;
September: Saturday, 2:00 pm
Closed
Tuesdays,September through March. Easter. All holiday hours are subject to change without notice.
Driving:
Paid parking is available in the garage under the Boston Common.
Public Transportation:
Take the T: Red or Green Line to Park Street

Redemption Instructions:
Please present your Go Boston Card at the ticket office window. It will be validated, and returned with a ticket for the tour.
Reservation Instructions:
Advanced reservations are not required, but tours may fill up during certain times of the season. You may make an advanced reservation online or by phone for a $5 convenience fee per person. Visit www.bostonmovietours.net/gocard.html or call 866-668-4345. If making an advanced reservation, your Go Boston Card MUST be valid at the time of the tour. All no-shows will be charged the full price of the tour. No charge for reservations made at the Boston Common Visitor Center at 148 Tremont Street.

The Go City Card is accepted until 5:30pm unless otherwise noted; during all other times standard admission will apply.
