Description
On a unique and compelling site on Hyannis Harbor, the Cape Cod Maritime Museum serves as a focal point for the Cape and Island’s maritime tradition. Boat building, cultural exhibits, maritime festivals, marine artifacts, shipwrecks, children’s programs and more flow in and out of the museum building. Within the Museum, a specially designated children’s area features fun, hands-on activities, quizzes, arts and crafts, and the Museum Book Store offers a range of maritime books and gifts for all. The 2010 exhibit Transformations: From Farming to Seafaring. Cape Cod 1639–1739 features the 1626 Cape Cod shipwrecked Sparrowhawk. Directly behind the Museum are sails on the historic Catboat replica Sarah.

April–November: Tuesday–Saturday, 10:00 am–4:00 pm;

Sunday, 12:00 pm–4:00 pm
Closed
Mondays, Thanksgiving Day, Mid-December through Mid-March.

Driving:
From Boston, take Rte 3 to Rte 6 over the Sagamore Bridge to exit 6. Take Rte 132 to Hyannis. At the Airport Rotary, take the second right onto Barnstable Road, which becomes Ocean Street. Take a left onto South Street at the lights. Museum is on the right overlooking the Harbor.
Public Transportation:
By Bus: Plymouth and Brockton bus from South Station, Boston to the Hyannis Transportation Center. Local bus services also available - call for details.

Redemption Instructions:
Please present your Go Boston Card to any ticket taker. They will validate it, return your card, and let you in.

The Go City Card is accepted until 5:30pm unless otherwise noted; during all other times standard admission will apply.
