Description

If you truly want to know the Cape, you can discover its heart and soul as envisioned by its artists at the Cape Cod Museum of Art - the museum is dedicated to exhibiting outstanding art from the Cape & Islands and Southeastern Massachusetts. Here, you will be amazed by the diversity of Cape-inspired art in several galleries. You can enjoy the quiet beauty of the Sculpture Garden, explore your creativity in year-round classes for children and adults, and find unique gifts by local artists and artisans in the Museum Shop. There are frequent special events throughout the year. Kids can always have fun with the Treasure Hunt in the Galleries.

The museum is on the grounds of the Cape Cod Center for the Arts. You can make it a whole day at the Center which includes the Cape Playhouse, Cape Cinema and Center Stage Cafe, all in the center of the quaint village of Dennis.

Mondays from mid October to the week before Memorial Day, New Year's Day, Christmas Day and Thanksgiving Day. All holiday hours are subject to change without notice.

Driving:

Route 6 from the East: off Exit 9B, Route 134. Turn right off the ramp onto Route 134 North and continue several miles until it ends at Route 6A. Turn left onto Route 6A and continue on for 3 miles into Dennis Village. Enter at the entrance to the grounds of the Cape Cod Center for the Arts and follow the signs to the CCMA. Route 6 from the West: off at Exit 8, Union Street. Turn left off the ramp onto Union Street and continue about 1 mile until it ends at Route 6A. Turn right onto Route 6A and continue about 4 miles into Dennis Village. Turn left at the entrance to the grounds of the Cape Cod Center for the Arts and follow the signs to the CCMA.

Redemption Instructions:

Included daytime general admission with the Go Boston Card. The Go Boston Card is accepted until 5:30 pm. During all other times, standard admission will apply.

The Go City Card is accepted until 5:30pm unless otherwise noted; during all other times standard admission will apply.
