Description: The Elephant and Castle Pub is one of those places that really captures the spirit and history of Boston. Located just steps from Faneuil Hall, Quincy Market, the Old South Meeting House, and the Old State House Museum, the Elephant and Castle stands on the very spot where the flow of molasses from the Great Molasses Flood finally came to an end on January 15, 1919. The menu features heart-warming comfort foods from Britain, such as bangers and mash, fish & chips, shepherd's pie, roast beef and Yorkshire pudding, as well as American fare such as grilled fish, chicken, pasta, and a wide variety of sandwiches. The Elephant and Castle also serves one of the best breakfasts in Boston-a great way to start your day exploring the city.
Hours:: Monday-Saturday, 7:00 am-midnight;
Sunday, 7:00 am-11:00 am
Closed: May be closed major U.S. holidays.
