Comments about Smart Destinations Museum of Science:
This was just awesome. I am an engineer and a science buff. May be, becoz of that, I found this museum remarkable. Those who do not have much interest in science, may not find it interesting. Museum is very vast and has 3 wings. I could only see one wing, in a day and there are lots and lots of things to see . Science has been demonstrated in a practical manner as you will find boards with questions and you need to choose right answer depending upon the practical work, stated on the board itself. If you will go through each and every thing thoroughly, there is no way that you can see whole museum in one single day. There is a kids section too. Each infant in itself is an engineer, learning about the world. That is the theme. There were few attendants who were explaining science to the kids . Kids were asked to draw, write or do whatever activity they can, according to their age. They have a separate setup to elaborate height and topography of Mount Everest. Science museum story will remain incomplete, if I will not mention electricity show. They demonstrated use of electricity as well as it's power in a majestic way via show. Lightning and thunder filled the hall while a comparer demonstrated effects of electricity with practical evidences. His jovial and enthusiastic commentary made the show memorable. No extra fee for this show. This happens thrice a day. There are many more shows, held twice or thrice a day, in different wings of museum. There was $5 ticket to see butterflies. Thay have good collection of butterflies.

So much to do, keep at least two days to fit it in the Omni theatre, the various exhibits. Butterfly garden is Not worth the [$]! and Neither is the 3D theatre. However so many exhibits will keep you occupied and going for the entire day. So much interactive things for you and the kids to do ! If your tired relax in the cafe area ! If you have time, get the DUCK TOUR that leaves from the museum, relax in the DUCK and enjoy the rich history of bostoN!
