Nantucket Ferry

A $45.00 value - Included with your Go Boston Card!

Once you've set foot on the 'Far-Away Isle,' you'll want to return again and again. Washed by the Atlantic, with beaches and water incredibly clear and sparkling, Nantucket has a history of seafaring greatness, which surrounds you on this picturesque island. Discover the exciting shops and boutiques or join a guided bus tour of the island, which includes views of the Whaling Museum, the cobblestone Main Street, and other fascinating sights. Rent a bike and tour the island to 'Sconset and its tiny rose-laden cottages or visit the breeze-fresh moors and outlying beaches. Comments about Smart Destinations Nantucket Ferry:

This was great. You take the morning Ferry over and then rent some mini scooters and run around the island and try to visit all the beaches! Tons of fun to do with your significant other or with friends or have a fun time. I just got back, sun burnt, wind burned, and LOVED all of it. The best time I have had in a long time. Get the little one seater scooters/vespas and drive around to the Surfs beach then around the entire island. You don't event need to fill up in gas. We also went and got ice creme and dinner on the island before the ship sales at 8:30. Fun time way better than just going to the beach, a fun adventure, totally worth it!

Driving Directions

Hy-Line Ferry terminal is approximately 1-1/2 hours from Boston, depending on traffic. Follow Rte 3 (Southeast Expressway) to 'flyover' the Sagamore Bridge onto Rte 6, to exit 6 (Rte 132 into Hyannis). At Airport Rotary, take the second right onto Barnstable Rd. After third light (at Main St), Barnstable Rd becomes Ocean Street. Straight through next light (at South St), continue 1/4-mile and look to the left for Hy-Line Cruises.
