Skywalk Observatory tickets

Gate Prices Adult $18.00

At the 50th floor of the Prudential you'll find the famous Skywalk Observatory, Boston's only sky-high vantage point. On a clear day, see all the way to New Hampshire. And at night, the entire skyline stretches before you. For everyone, but the faint of heart.

The Prudential Center’s Skywalk offers New England's only sky high vantage point with breathtaking 360-degree panoramic views of Boston and beyond! The observatory in this unique landmark building offers engaging interactive exhibits that give visitors a real flavor of Boston’s distinctive culture and neighborhoods. You’ll leave with a greater understanding of the layout of Boston and the surrounding area, and an appreciation for the beauty (both natural and manmade) of this New England capitol city!

The unique 40-minute ‘Acoustiguide Opus Touch’ self-guided player details the city's historic past and current sites as you stand and observe from 52 stories high. The theater features films including Dreams of Freedom: Boston’s Story and Wings Over Boston that give context to what you’re seeing. Coincidentally, the Dreams of Freedom Immigration Museum is Boston's only educational immigration experience, and is a great way to learn about the city’s multiculturalism.

The Skywalk Observatory is the ideal place to begin a tour of Boston, offering unparalleled views of the city. Think of the Prudential Center as Boston’s Empire State Building! On a clear day, you can see up to 100 miles away and far out to sea as well. Visitors are able to get a bird's eye view of Boston's Hancock Tower, Fenway Park, the Boston Common and Public Gardens, the Esplanade and Hatch Shell, the Charles River, Faneuil Hall Marketplace, MIT, Harvard University, and countless other Boston landmarks.

The view from the Skywalk Observatory at the Prudential Center gives you a great perspective on Beantown that can’t be found anywhere else in the city, and provides a great way for tourists to orient themselves to Boston’s various landmarks. Don’t miss your chance to stand atop Boston’s beloved Prudential Center and see all of Boston before taking on the sights and attractions of the city at ground-level!

Comments about Smart Destinations Skywalk Observatory:

An observation deck is always on my list of "must-sees" whenever I visit a new city. This is a worthy stop on any Boston itinerary. While small, the views are stunning. In my opinion, they are best experienced in the early evening. Make no mistake, this isn't the caliber that you will come to find at Top of the Rock in NYC (with outdoor vantage points and heated tiles) or the iconic Space Needle in Seattle, but it is very good in its own right. I make it a point to do a "weekend staycation" in Boston every year and the Skywalk is always on my list. Every time I visit, I notice something new.
