Purchase a Go Boston Card today and get access to more than 53 Boston attractions!
The first time you visit an attraction, it will “activate” the calendar day countdown on your pass.
For example, a 3-day pass activated on a Monday will be valid on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. It doesn’t matter what time you activate the pass on the first day, so we suggest you start your day early.
With our Free Cancellation Insurance, you can return any unactivated passes for a full refund, within a year of the purchase date.
Most travelers visit between 2 and 3 attractions each day depending on individual preference. Our most popular pass is the 3-day pass.
Compare the price of the pass to the gate prices of the attractions you want to visit to see how much you can save. Many customers save more than 50%.
You can enter attractions until 5:30pm with the Go Boston Card.
In most cases, you can visit each attraction once per day. Some attractions are valid only once during the life of the pass. Please reference your guidebook page for specific information on each attraction.
Child passes are for ages 3-12. Most attractions are free for children under 3.

Attractions that require a reservation will display this symbol on the guidebook page.
Some attractions require a credit card to hold a reservation. In these cases, your credit card will not be charged unless you do not show up for your reservation.
There’s no catch. Go Boston Card has a partnership with all of the participating attractions to make your visit to Boston as memorable as possible and to help you save time and money.

Comments about Smart Destinations Go Boston Card:
This card was such a great bargain. It saved me over $150 in the different attractions. The best way to use the card is to get online and look at all of the attractions. Plan to do several things in one day and with close planning you can have a great trip and enjoy many of the sites of Boston at such a discount. The tall ships was awesome,

Comments about Smart Destinations Go Boston Card:
This is not a discount card--it actually covers the cost of your admission to the included attractions. There were over 50 to choose from when we travelled. I was able to save almost $250 and do activities we could not have afforded otherwise, for two of us with this card. We found attractions not heavily advertised elsewhere, were able to use the Trolley for 2 days transportation around the city, and it even covers some places outside of Boston itself: Six Flags, Salem, Cape Cod... I am usually an avid planner, so my teenage daughter and I definitely made the most out of the three day pass, despite staying about an hour north of Boston. My only complaint was the pick up option we chose, since this was a last minute trip, we purchased with the pick up option and had trouble finding parking to actually pick up the card on our way to Six Flags the first day.

Comments about Smart Destinations Go Boston Card:
We booked our cards in the winter for even greater savings (They are good for 365 days). [$] for the 3 day pass. I figure I saved $120 per card. Total of almost $500 for my family of 4. Plus what we saved at a couple of restaurants. Try to plan your days to get the most out of your cards. Which isnt as easy as you think -- dont forget how tiring holidays can be. The tall ships are a great break from the hustle of the rest of your holidays. The segways were our bonus choice and I cant recommend them highly enough (they book up fast). 100 percent get these cards.

Comments about Smart Destinations Go Boston Card:
Our first visit to Boston and we got to see and do so much more because of the card. Everything was prepaid, so no standing in long lines. Most places are within walking distance, so was easy to visit at least 3 attractions/day. Before buying card, compare what's included on card with what you want to do, to see if card is cost effective for you. We were in Boston only 2 days and I figure we saved at least $40.00 per card.

Comments about Smart Destinations Go Boston Card:
There was a wide range of activities available for many different interests. My only real con was that once started you couldn't stop. With the temperatures so high, it would have been nice to have had a break in activities. (we had the 5 day card)

Comments about Smart Destinations Go Boston Card:
I bought three 3-day cards for my father, son and I to use when we were in Boston. I purchased them on-line (when they were discounted) and had them shipped to me in Canada. The cards were great, however, because there are so many attractions in Boston, I would strongly urge you to plan your sightseeing before you go. It can take quite a long time to get between destinations so you want to make sure you have enough time. We went whale watching, toured Fenway Park, took the Bean Town trolley, went to the aquarium (twice) and the science centre, and did the hour long Segway Tour (our bonus) attraction and I estimate we saved over $30 per person by using the card. All in all, a great deal. I'm heading to NYC in a couple of weeks, I'm going to check to see if there's a Go New York card!

Comments about Smart Destinations Go Boston Card:
I just got back from Boston, used the 5 day card for Boston and Newport RI. My husband and I saved at least 110.00 each and we did a lot more things than we normally would have done. Like the aquarium, we only had an hour before it closed, but since it was on the card we went in and still were able to see the highlights, otherwise we would have not paid since we would not have gotten our money's worth. All the venders were happy to take the card, had no problems at all. We had also used the Blue Ridge Go card during the summer and it was great also. I look forward to going many more places that have the Go Card!! Just plan your time so you can get the most out of the card, and you will love it.

Comments about Smart Destinations Go Boston Card:
This is a great card IF you plan the trip. We had an alternative plan for rain and it did for a day and a half (8/14-8/15/11). We toured the National Aquarium and Children's Museum as inside activities on the rain day. We only completed these 2 things on that day which is why planning is important. Also, many places are only open 9 or 10 to 4 or 5 so don't plan to see everything due to travel time between destinations and the time to see it. Plan a few things a day for what you may do and then do a comparison between just paying the admission and the card. It is convenient and it also saved us time in lines, like the Aquarium, as we could just walk to the desk and be admitted. (The Aquarium had a long line at 9:00 when it opened and we avoided it). I would recommmend the card.
