- Description
- The USS Constitution Museum is a private, non-profit museum that serves as the memory and educational voice of USS Constitution, the world's oldest commissioned warship afloat. Located alongside the vessel, the museum houses the ship's logs, weapons, documents, charts, journals, decorative arts, and more. Interactive exhibits allow visitors to fire a cannon, swing in a hammock, and experience life as a sailor onboard USS Constitution in 1812.
- Hours:
- April 15-October 31: Daily, 9:00 am-6:00 pm;
November 1-April 14: Daily, 10:00 am-5:00 pm - Closed
- Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day. All holiday hours are subject to change without notice.
- Public Transportation:
- Take the T: T Water Shuttle from Long Wharf to Charlestown Navy Yard. Green or Orange Lines to North Station, then follow the Freedom Trail to Charlestown.
