The Go Card saved us over $100, we did the calculations! It also helped plan our trip- we weren't sure what to do or where to start, and using this card as a guide helped us see all that Chicago had to offer. In three days we did over 20 attractions. The only thing about the card that was disappointing is the Gray Line trolley- definitely had to wait at stops, but we got a discount with the other Trolley company from another promotion, so we took advantage of both line and made it around town pretty quickly while getting information about the city. One way to get around the 5:30 end time is to go to the places that close later and pick up your tickets in the morning, then come back for the attraction after 5:30. (Boat tours, Hancock and Sears Towers, Navy Pier)
Comments about Smart Destinations Go Chicago Card:
The card was a great time and money saver if you plan of hitting the ground running everyday. It was hard to take advantage of all it had to offer in 3 days. The trollies were a thorn in my side. Waited for 30-40 minutes each time we tried to catch a ride. The employees in the Grayline stands couldn't even tell you were you should wait for it. Just take a cab.

Comments about Smart Destinations Go Chicago Card:
My husband and I used these in April of this year (3 day passes). They are perfect for people who like to go-go-go all day long! We crammed so many attractions into each day & were ready for a nice relaxing dinner/drinks in the evening. The people who complain it's not good after 5:30 don't know how to budget their time on vacation! The 8 or 9 hours the card is useful duing the day is MORE than enough to see plenty. We would have spent over $250 a person and only spent $97 for the 3-day passes. SUCH a savings!
Comments about Smart Destinations Go Chicago Card:
Was only able to get in two views the first day after picking up tickets at Macy's at 10AM. Rushed to get from one tour to another to get in 2 visits in first day. Only 1 visit on the second day. There were restrictions that were not noted. Fast access was not the case. Had to go lines through security, wait for elevators to get in and out. One area was finished in 4 hours and left only time to get to the other event before 5:30PM. Not to say that it would have been nice to be able to go later and enjoy the sunset. Overall, was very disappointed with the sights went to not at all like the brochures showed for the one place visites. Next day took the kids where they could have fun. By the time they got thru one line they had time for another event and that was it. VERY DISCONTENT. I read the reviews and saw bad reviews but thought that they were just being over dramatic, they were not. For the upper class this pass is great because they have money to do the other 30 things the card offers. If the intent was to see as many things as possible for a good price, I'd success you buy the tickets that don't have time restrictions for each of the places you'd want to visit.

Fast pass was great didn't have to wait in long lineups. Great value if you want to see most popular tours. Ordered online which was cheaper price then purchasing at the location. Only bad thing about purchased online was that you had to pick up card and then go to another location to pick up your trolley pass or pay for mailing cost. Should also post times when the Hop on Hop Off trolleys show up at the stops and not all stops had a representative at the stops.

Planned activities ahead of time, to take advantage of the card. Bike riding rental used twice, the nice thing is that in Chicago so many things are within minutes of each other that we really felt as though we maximized the card. Easily saved 50% off regular price and you aren't pulling out a credit card two or three times a day, even visited things for only an hour and didn't feel guilty.

Comments about Smart Destinations Go Chicago Card:
Great money-saving way to see Chicago. We used the 2 day pass and were able to see quite a lot. Saturday: Field Museum, Adler Planeterium, Shedd Aquarium and the Shoreline Architecture Cruise. We were too exhausted after the cruise to use the Navy Pier vouchers that night- so plan accordingly. Sunday: John Hancock Observatory, 4 hour bike rental, Millenium Park, Grant Park, Willis (Sears) Tower, Navy Pier rides, Shoreline Sunset Cruise. If you plan, you can get a lot in. Walking also lets you see more of the city- we walked from the Willis Tower to the Navy Pier and saw some great sights on Michigan Avenue. Keep in mind that even though you cannot get into attractions with the card after 5:30 pm, you can still pick up tickets for the Navy Pier rides and the cruises to use after that time- as long as you pick up the tickets before 5:30. We took the bus to Navy Pier first thing both mornings to pick up those tickets, and then used buses, water taxis and our own two feet to see other sights during the day. One tip- go to the John Hancock and the Willis tower early in the mornings; when we went to the Willis Sunday afternoon, we were in line even with the fastpass. One tip- the Architecture cruise is amazing, and the sunset cruise is truly unbelievable.

Comments about Smart Destinations Go Chicago Card:
Good value if you are able to plan everything properly. We got the 2 day pass and planned everything really well from transportation, time spent at each attraction, times and shows going on, etc and are very happy we got the card. We planned to start with the Shedd aquarium and got the cards there, then we went to the planetarium, then from there we did a crazy stroll up to the Navy Pier (got to see the park) to get our ride tickets and sign up for the architectural tour. Second day we went to the Museum os Science and Industry (really cool exhibitions and deffinetely worth the trip south),the Willis tower. From there we took the hop on-hop off and got to the Navy Pier to get our tickets for the Tall Ship Windy. The only down side is the fact that the card does not work anymore after 5:30, so we had to rush and make sure we get all the tickets before that time to redeem them later. Another thing- some of the attractions may have different schedules- due to changes made by them- for ex. the Tall Ship Windy was booked for a private party at the time we wanted to go, and that's after we confirmed with them a day before what are their available times. The good thing about the card is skipping lines at some attractions and then the shows included with the card, for which you'd have to pay additionally if you'd just get a regular admission ticket. Very happy with our choice.

We started at 8:30 both days. Got into Field Museum, Adler Planetarium, Hancock, architecture boat tour and Navy Pier on first day, used Grayline tour to get around town. Second day went to Shedd, Sears Tower, Tall Ship Windy, bus tour, got 4 hour bike rental at 4:00. Felt like it was definitely worth the $. Longest wait time was five minutes in the will call line at Shedd. Every line we were able to bypass with fastpass.

Comments about Smart Destinations Go Chicago Card:
Although it was only good till 5:30, some of the venues let you purchase the ticket before 5:30 and use it later in the evening. It did take some planning. Over-all, this is a great deal and a real money saver.
