Imagine: the sun glinting off Lake Michigan and 20 glorious miles of paved lakefront trails ahead of you. Insider tip: Be sure to pack a few sandwiches along with your camera and sun block — the shore makes for a gorgeous picnic spot.

Chicago is a beautiful city in the warmer months, blossoming into a place where concrete and nature exist harmoniously; its green spaces and skyline ready to be enjoyed by visitors-by foot, bus, or better yet – by bike! Why waste time waiting (and paying) for taxis when you can take in the beautiful scenery and work off that deep-dish Chicago pizza you’ve been indulging in? When you visit ‘The Windy City’, be sure to see the sights the smart way; by picking up a bike from Bike and Roll rentals. It’s not only good for your wallet and waistline; it’s great for the environment!

It’s convenient that Chicago is built around a gigantic lake, with miles and miles of splendid lakefront trails which make navigating the city easy.

Do Chicago the eco-friendly and smart way! Your Bike and Roll trip will let you get up-close and personal with such sights as Lincoln Park Zoo, Grant Park, the Magnificent Mile, and of course, the lake! No parking headaches, no cab fare…just strap on your helmet, don’t forget your lock and bike map, and hit the road (or path) for a sightseeing outing that will make your trip to Chicago memorable and fun!

We rented bikes for the whole family (2 teen-agers , my husband and I) Good quality bikes. Beautiful path along the shores of Lake Michigan. Unfortunately we rented our bikes during the air show and the path was so busy we couldn't even move!

Comments about Smart Destinations Bike Chicago Navy Pier:

Who knew biking Chicago would be so much fun! I am a middle-aged, not overly fit woman who loves to walk, but had no idea of the fun and versatility of biking this amazingly bike-accessible city. Christian at the rental shop was a blessing for sure! I highly recommend this method of travelling from one end of the city to the other... We saw sights and sounds that surely added to our love of the lovely city of Chicago.. Thanks Christian!
