This half-hour Skyline Boat Tour spans the entire panorama of Chicago's world renowned skyline, traveling north past Navy Pier to the Hancock Building, east out to the Lighthouse, and south towards the Sears Tower and Museum Campus which includes the Shedd Aquarium, Field Museum and Adler Planetarium.

The tour is accompanied by a professionally produced narration recounting Chicago's dramatic history and highlighting many famous landmarks along the route. Tours depart from Navy Pier, departure times vary according to the season-please call or visit online for exact schedule information.

The Skyline Boat Tour is one of the best ways to see the city of Chicago. And since you can take the cruise for free with a Go Chicago Card (or as a choice with a Chicago Explorer Pass), there's nothing stopping you from enjoying this special experience.

All cruises are weather permitting and availability is based on Coast Guard capacity.

Hours:

June-August: Departs daily every half hour 10:00 am-10:00 pm;
May and September: Departs daily every hour 11:00 am-5:00 pm;
April, October and November: Departs weekends every hour 11:00 am-5:00 pm (weather permitting).

Closed:

Closed in Winter.

Driving:

Illinois Street east towards Lake Michigan to Navy Pier. Take the Navy Pier Exit off of Lake Shore Drive.

Redemption Instructions:

Present your Go Chicago Card at the Shoreline Sightseeing ticket booth or Navy Pier Ogden Slip ticket booth.

Your Go Chicago Card is valid for one cruise per day and you may choose either the Skyline Boat Tour, the Architectural River Cruise, or the Tall Ship Windy as your cruise option. Evening cruises not included with the Go Chicago Card.

The Go City Card is accepted until 5:30pm unless otherwise noted; during all other times standard admission will apply.
