Description

Historic cultural Chicago is on full display on the two-hour Gray Line South Shore Tour. Travel through Grant Park, the front lawn of the city and site of Soldier Field, where you might hear some music from the Joseph Petrillo outdoor band-shell on warm summer nights.

View the Art Institute of Chicago, renowned for its collection of impressionist art; Orchestra Hall, home of the famous Chicago Symphony; the vast Field Museum of Natural History; and the 80-story Amoco Oil Building, completely faced in white granite. Continue through beautiful Jackson Park en route to the University of Chicago with its elegant English style architecture. Finally, view Lake Point Towers -- once the world's tallest apartment building -- an architecturally stunning building of glass and curves.

June 1-September 30: Tour departs at 11:30 am and 3:30 pm;
October 1-May 31: Tour departs at 12:00 pm.

This tour departs from the Gray Line office located at the Palmer House Hilton Hotel. Please arrive a minimum of 1/2 hour prior to the scheduled departure time. Tour is based on availability on the day of service. Go Chicago Card is valid (per the life of the card) for your choice of one Gray Line tour per day (choice of Trolley, North Side, South Shore or Grand Tour). Tours are occasionally not operational due to special events, outside of the control of Go Chicago Card. Tip: Look for Gray Line tour guides who are easily identified by their blue shirts. Included tour with the Go Chicago Card.

The Go City Card is accepted until 5:30pm unless otherwise noted; during all other times standard admission will apply.
