This Gray Line tour of Chicago’s South Side is a two-hour journey through the famous sites and streets of the southern half of downtown and beyond. This fully narrated tour begins in the iconic Grant Park around the Art Institute of Chicago, and continues south towards the Museum Campus, Solider Field (home of the Chicago Bears), then down onto Jackson Park and beyond. See some of the most iconic architectural and historical sites of Chicago’s South Shore.

The South Side Tour is a convenient, informative way to explore some of the highlights of Chicago that you might not otherwise visit. While you’re sure to find your way around Grant Park, and down to the major museums, you may not check out the impressive Amoco Building, Jackson Park (site of the 1893 World’s Fair), the Lake Point Towers (tallest apartment buildings in the world!) or the University of Chicago’s campus. Explore Chicago like an insider with this in-depth tour.

Comments about Smart Destinations South Side Tour by Gray Line:

Although we had visited a lot on the South side of Chicago ( Alder building etc) it was good that the tour took us into the suburbs to see sites that you would not see without having the tour.
