Since 1971, Lalo's has been treating their guests to authentic family recipes featuring the unique and delicious flavors of Mexico. Not long ago, Mexican food in Chicago usually meant tacos, enchiladas, and mouth-boiling salsas. Lalo's Restaurants takes pride in bringing to Chicago the vast array of sauces, spices, and flavors that make the Mexican cuisine so unique. Lalo's traces its roots to a small 24 seat restaurant located in the heart of Chicago's Mexican Community. By following a strict policy of only serving top quality, authentic dishes, that small restaurant steadily grew in popularity. Today, there are a total of twelve locations both in the city and the suburbs, and each location remains family-owned, serving the highest quality, freshest foods adapted from cherished family recipes.
