Description: The oldest family name in Chicago-style pizza, Lou Malnati's has been the Chicago-style deep-dish pizza specialists for more than 35 years. From the first restaurant established in 1971 to the 24 current locations, Lou Malnati's has focused on food quality and customer service. Chicago-style deep-dish pizza is the heartiest of the pizza varieties-a sit-down, knife and fork experience. The dough is patted out by hand and raised up high on the sides of a seasoned deep-dish pizza pan, but the crust of a true Chicago style pizza is actually rather thin. The order in which the ingredients are placed on a Chicago-style deep-dish pizza is what makes it different from traditional thin crust pizzas.
