  • Holiday Snow Days at Legoland California

    November 19 – January 2

    At Legoland California's Holiday Snow Days, you can go beyond just dreaming of a white Christmas. This year, Legoland has real snow in addition to the world's largest LEGO Christmas tree, a nightly tree lighting ceremony starting in December, and a LEGO Santa and reindeer. Entry to Legoland is included with the Go Los Angeles Card.

  • The Hollywood Christmas Parade

    November 27

    The Hollywood Christmas Parade is a favorite annual event held the Sunday after Thanksgiving. The 3.5 mile parade route follows Hollywood Boulevard and Sunset Boulevard. Expect to spot many celebrities in the procession!

  • Grinchmas at Universal Studios

    December

    Once again, Universal Studios Hollywood will host the Grinch and his faithful dog Max for the holiday season. Experience the winter wonderland at Whoville, complete with real snow, a 60-foot Seuss-style Christmas tree, and meet and greets with the Grinch himself. Visitors can also board the behind-the-scenes Studio Tour to see close-ups of the original film sets of "Dr.Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas."   • Downtown Burbank's 12 Days of Holiday Cheer

    December 1 – 12

    'Tis the season for merriment and family fun in Downtown Burbank! The 12-day event kicks off with the Mayor's Tree Lighting Ceremony and Santa's Downtown Wonderland. The celebration's highlights include ABC 7's Spark of Love Toy Drive featuring the Metrolink Holiday Toy Express, a 450-ton train decked out in holiday garb, Breakfast with Santa at Burbank Town Center, and sing-a-long Hollywood Trolley Tours of elaborately decorated homes.

  • Montana Avenue Holiday Walk

    December 2

    Get something for everyone on your list as your stroll past the shops of this 10-block Holiday Walk in Santa Monica. The streets will be majestically sparkling with holiday lights, and you can expect live music and festive activities!

  • Heritage Square Annual Holiday Lamplight Celebration

    December 3 & 4

    Experience the holiday cheer in three different decades as you travel through historic Victorian homes at the Heritage Square Annual Holiday Lamplight Celebration. You'll enjoy music, dancing, singing, and other festivities in this living history program.

  • Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade

    December 14 – December 18

    Watch beautifully decorated and brightly lit yachts, boats, kayaks, and canoes sail along the harbor in the 103rd Annual Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade. On the final night of the parade, a special fireworks show will conclude the events.

  • Los Angeles County Holiday Celebration

    December 24

    Designated "L.A.'s Biggest Holiday Show," the Annual Los Angeles County Holiday Celebration is back for its 52nd year! This three hour program features choirs, music ensembles, and dance companies from the diverse neighborhoods and cultures of L.A. Best of all, it's free for everyone!

  • The Tournament of Roses Parade & The Rose Bowl Game

    January 2

    Ring in the new year with one of the most famed events of the season. The Tournament of Roses is a festival of fresh flowers, marching bands, equestrian performances, and elaborate floats featuring high-tech animation and exotic displays. The Rose Bowl Game, a post-season football game played against the Big Ten and Pac-12 champions, is known as "The Granddaddy of Them All" and has sold out every year since 1947.
