Customer Service Representative

Reporting to: Director, Customer Service
Team: Customer Service

Summary
The position of Customer Service Representative at Smart Destinations requires previous Customer Service experience, preferably in internet based retail operations and/or the travel and tourism industry.

Core Responsibilities

  • Full time, permanent position
  • Handles the day-to-day activities within the customer service department and within the framework of established policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for communicating with customers via phone, e-mail or live chat that are inquiring about products or any other service the company may offer.
  • Responsible addressing all customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinates with other departments to resolve issues involving the customer services department.

Experience Requirements

  • 2-4 years previous Customer Service or Call Center experience.
  • Proficient in Windows based applications
  • Internet familiarity
  • Online applications such as order processing and e-commerce
  • Support and process of return/refund and order procedures
  • Live chat communication
  • Email communication
  • Phone communication

Experience Preferred

  • Direct-to-consumer service experience
  • Familiarity of sales techniques and sales process
  • Internet based retail operations
  • Travel/tourism industry
  • Vendor/partner relation management
