Front End Web Developer

Type: Full Time

Job Summary
Smart Destinations is looking for a Web Developer that can work directly with our Engineering and Marketing teams. You will build and maintain new features on our public websites to support marketing requirements. Providing accurate assessments of resources needed for proposed projects. Work with other team members (designer, developers, marketing) to understand user requirements. Performing unit and integration testing. Addressing bug fixing / making enhancements during system testing and quality testing. Regularly reporting progress of development projects

Experience:

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent
• Minimum three (3-5) years Hands-on experience
• Strong working knowledge of all facets of web applications from back-end processing to front end rendering
• Possess a strong knowledge of cross-browser programming nuances
• Experienced communicator with non-technical clients and colleagues

Professional Skills:

• Macintosh and PC, Linux  computer operation
• Ajax, HTML, XHTML, Javascript, CSS, DOM, XML, PHP, Templating, UI design skills, Photoshop.
• New, innovative, ideas and concepts

Personal Attitude and Skills:

• Ability to manage several projects simultaneously; good prioritization skills
• Innovative and creative thinker
• Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards
• Keeping Schedules
• Highly motivated and positive ‘Can Do’ attitude
