The Huntington is a world-renowned center of art and culture set amidst 120 acres of breathtaking gardens. Four art galleries and a library showcase magnificent collections of rare books and historic manuscripts such as the Gutenberg Bible and Chaucer's 'The Canterbury Tales', and priceless works of art, including Gainsborough's 'Blue Boy', and works by Reynolds, Sargent, Cassatt and Hopper. Botanical rarities flourish in the 12-acre Desert Garden, 14 acre Japanese Garden and gardens devoted to roses, camellias, tropicals and more. A new glass and steel tropical conservatory equipped with state-of-the-art science stations leads you into the Bing Children's Garden. New in 2008: The Huntington Art Gallery has been fully restored and will reopen May 28th. Driving:

From the 134/210 Freeway in Pasadena, take the Hill or Allen exit. Go south on Allen Avenue 1.5 miles to Huntington main gate.

Public Transportation:

Metro: Gold Line, Allen Avenue station.
