Comments about Smart Destinations Warner Bros. Studio VIP Tour:

WB offers a very comprehensive studio tour. It runs about 2 1/4 hours and it is packed with lots to see and experience. Our guide was very animated and clearly knowledgeable-perfect! After an excellent orientation film we boarded a large cart for our tour. Stops were made along the way to allow us to walk thru soundstages and their impressive backlots. We saw NYC, Chicago, small town America and more. Some photo ops were offered though in some instances we were told no photos etc. and our personal belongings were locked in the cart. I do feel however they did offer enough exciting photo ops that this was no big deal. The tour included a visit to their museum which to a movie buff- especially Harry Potter fans is a nirvana experience. There one could experience the famous "sorting hat". So fun but not long enough. A final note is needed regarding their gift shop. It is again a great stop offering some very cool items and great t-shirts. I would repeat this tour and definitely use a Go Card. No hassles at all.

Comments about Smart Destinations Warner Bros. Studio VIP Tour:

Our tour guide John made the tour amazing! He was highly energetic, enthusiastic, positive, informative, funny, entertaining, and passionate about the industry. It was clear that he loved his job. We had fun with him, joking around. He made the tour! We did other tours while in LA that could have been good but had bad tour guides. Fortunately John made this tour one that we will forever remember. We wish he was our guide around all of LA!!! He should get a raise, he rocks!!!!!! Warner Brothers easily accommodates the pass for any tour time, so long as there is space. This is a nice change from other places that seem to be annoyed by the use of go passes.

Loved it more than Disneyland! The Front of the Line Pass is the only way to go! The lines had fans spraying a fine mist of water so people could stay cool while waiting. That was SO NICE!The studio tour was FUN!

Comments about Smart Destinations Warner Bros. Studio VIP Tour:

The tour was amazing, i went for 1 reason..to see The F.R.I.E.N.D.S Set! The guide asked me what my interest was in coming and seeing and he said nothing and asked me to step forward amongst our tour group and he opened a wooden panelled door ...."omg" Revealing Central Perk coffee shop set. It was surreal!! The guide actually said he saw my face light up and literally gasp! And for that he allowed me to go further inside and sit on the famous orange couch and have photos.

Comments about Smart Destinations Warner Bros. Studio VIP Tour:

We wanted to do this tour on Thursday when we also had a taping of the "Ellen" show scheduled. They would not accept the card until Saturday. We had to drive 60 miles back to LA to do this attraction. Please put that in your tour book.

We did call the day before and made a reservation but not sure we really needed as it's wasn't busy. All I had to was mention the Go card and now questions asked. It was really simple to and totally worth it. You can't go to LA without doing this studio tour.

A well presented Studio Tour

No Videotaping,
Bottom Line:

Comments about Smart Destinations Warner Bros. Studio VIP Tour:

Warner are very adept at presentation of a studio tour and is very much geared towards tours. Again there are large groups divided into smaller tours, with 3 tours per hour. You start by having a film presentation in a theatre for 10 minutes cataloging some of the films Warner has created. The tour guides then come into the theatre and take each group at a time starting with group A etc. They explain the etiquette expected around the lot - no videotaping of any kind, no photographing sets in use or of the production co. and crew and no photographing any celebrity on site. The tour guide was very knowledgeable - explaining film processess and how sets can be altered to make it look completely different, but used many times over without the audience even noticing. We saw inside film sound stages (which could not be photographed either). We were also taken to a garage for some famous vehicles used within films and were allowed to photograph. They even took Free photographs against a green screen which superimposed a famous vehicle from a current set of films - which they give to you at the end of the tour. We also got to see a famous set (which my girls thought was the best part of the tour) and again allowed to photograph as well as the prop library. They also had 1 building for some famous film costumes, which you cannot take photo's in and they locked our cameras in the cart to ensure we couldn't! Overall the tour was very well presented, although felt more staged than other studio tours. I would definately recommend going on this tour.

Comments about Smart Destinations Warner Bros. Studio VIP Tour:

Warner Brother's Studio was great. Terrific behind the scenes information and sometimes an actor or two. This card allows you to see places for better pricing than any other discounts I have found. Plan your trip to make the most of your card.
