How it works

Frequently Asked Questions

What do you mean by calendar days over a 2 week period?

Your Go Los Angeles Card is valid for the number of days you bought the card for, and you can take up to two weeks to use your card.

For example, if you activate a 3-Day Go Los Angeles Card on a Monday, then your card will be good for that day and 2 more days in the next two weeks. If you decide to go sightseeing again that Friday, then you will have one day left to use, and so on.

Please note that these are calendar days, not 24-hour periods, so start your day early to get the most out of your card!

How do I "activate" my card?

Simply visit your first attraction!

How many days should I buy?

Most travelers visit between 2 and 3 attractions each day depending on individual preference. Our most popular card is the 3-Day card.

Is my card valid all day?

You can enter attractions until 5:30pm with the Go Los Angeles Card.

What is your refund policy?

We know sometimes travel plans change, even at the very last minute. That's why, if you don't end up activating and using your pass within a year of the purchase date, we'll give you a full refund. No questions asked.

Here's the best part: unlike our competitors, this built-in cancellation insurance comes with every card purchase — free of charge.

If you have any questions, or if you would like to initiate a refund anytime within 1 year of your purchase, please call our Customer Care Team at 800-887-9103. We'll tell you how you can return your non-activated card or pass.

Please note: Activated passes are non-refundable.

What delivery method should I choose?
  • Having your cards shipped in advance will save you time traveling to a pick up location when you get there. Note that transit times vary depending on shipping options. View delivery options.
  • With in-city pickup you can get a physical card and full-color printed guidebook without waiting for shipping. We will email you a voucher which can be redeemed for passes at one of our voucher redemption locations.
Do you ship Go Los Angeles Cards to hotels?

Sorry, we cannot ship to hotels because of delivery concerns.

I have a voucher, where can I pick up my card?

View a list of in-city pickup locations where you can redeem your voucher for cards.

Where can I buy the cards in Los Angeles?

View a list of sales locations in Los Angeles. Note that in-city purchases are available for full price only.

Does a Go Los Angeles Card expire?

Yes. You have one year from the date of purchase to begin using your pass. After one year, it will expire.

How much will I save?

Compare the price of the pass to the gate prices of the attractions you want to visit to see how much you can save. Many customers save more than 50%.

How many attractions can I visit in one day?

On a Go Los Angeles Card, you can visit as many attractions as you want in a day from 9:00am-5:30pm.

Can I visit an attraction more than once?

In most cases, you can visit each attraction once per day. Some attractions are valid only once during the life of the pass. Please reference your guidebook for specific information on each attraction.

What is the age cut off for child cards?

Child cards are for children ages 3-12. Most attractions do not charge for children under 3 years old. However, there are some exceptions (especially children's museums and attractions geared toward very young travelers). If you have a child under 3 years old, please check with the attraction directly in advance. You may be charged at the gate.

Do I need to make reservations to visit the attractions?

Attractions that require a reservation will display this symbol on the guidebook page.

Some attractions require a credit card to hold a reservation. In these cases, your credit card will not be charged unless you do not show up for your reservation.

What happens if an attraction is closed or a tour is cancelled due to weather or other problem?

While we do our best to ensure that all attractions are available, events happen that are out of our control. The great thing about a Go Los Angeles Card is that there are so many attractions to choose from. If an attraction is closed, or cannot be visited for some reason, we know you'll find a fun alternative in your guidebook!

What do I do if my Go Los Angeles Card is lost or stolen?

Unfortunately, it cannot be replaced if it is lost or stolen. Please treat the card like cash.

Can I share my Go Los Angeles Card with a friend, or sell it?

A Go Los Angeles Card is non-transferrable. Once you start using it, you are the only person who can use it to get into attractions. You must sign the signature strip on the back of the card and you may be asked to present an ID. Go Los Angeles Cards cannot be re-sold.

If you are traveling with a group, each traveller may be asked for proof of ID.

What’s the catch?

There’s no catch. Go Los Angeles Card has a partnership with all of the participating attractions to make your visit to Los Angeles as memorable as possible and to help you save time and money.

I still have questions!

Please feel free to call us at 866‑652‑3053 and we’ll be happy to help you!

Note: You should treat your Go Los Angeles Card like cash. If it is lost or stolen, it cannot be replaced.

Comments about Smart Destinations Go Los Angeles Card:

Did queen mary, spirit cruise but didn't get the chance to do aquarium by the pacific because of time we couldn't make it in time for it. They should make a 10 day go la card to get more activities in and no time restrictions it's hard to squeeze a lot of places in by 5:30 every day.also it would be nice to add Taco Bell discovery center we kept driving past it on the freeway on the way to other destinations. Also you no longer have the cal science museum and Autry museum. It prompt next time to get annual passés to some of the theme parks time limitations my biggest complaint.

Comments about Smart Destinations Go Los Angeles Card:

It's great because you can do the "major" things, plus the "smaller" things that you normally wouldn't be willing to pay for. But because they are included, it's neat to see these things - like the automotive museum - I wouldn't have paid for it individually but it was really cool.

This is a great product that saved me a lot of money. There would have been a lot of things that I wouldn't have done, if I didn't have the card. I had no problems with the card, everywhere that said they would accept the card did honor it.

Comments about Smart Destinations Go Los Angeles Card:

We brought a 5 day Los Angeles Go Card via the net when they were on special, before the price rise, and utilised it to the full. We planned our visit to LA in 2 parts; 5 days in Anaheim; 5 days in Westwood, and were pleased to be able to use the card any 5 days over two weeks, which makes it incredibly flexible.Day 1 was spent at Knots berry Farm.Day Free we rode the buses to Long Beach with the intention of visiting the Queen Mary, the aquarium and doing a harbour cruise, but sadly the Queen Mary was closed to the public for a private event. We managed to get aboard to lunch in the restaurant and were encouraged by a QM employee to take a tour by ourselves with the map she pressed into our hands. So with a saving of not using our card, we decided to head back to Disneyland and save using the card that day.Day 2 was Sony Picture Tour, pre booked the night before. A great tour with a couple of surprise gifts which were greatly appreciated. Then onto Santa Monica, where we checked out the small aquarium there. Then onto to our next pre booked tour; the Starline Malibu Celebrity Homes tour. When we arrived around 2 p.m, we checked in to be told they had booked us on the 9:30 that morning. We had thought we were all speaking the same language when we had booked the 3:30 tour the previous day but something was lost in translation. They were, in the end, very helpful, and gave us tickets for the Hop On Hop Off bus in the event of there not being a place for us on the other tour. Luckily for us, some booked people failed to turn up, so off we whizzed up the Pacific Highway in the late June gloom. The sound system wasn't too good, but the warm blankets were much appreciated. After the tour, we managed to get aboard the last hop on for the day; a bone rattling, bum numbing old English double decker bus with a canned commentary you could only hear when the bus was stationery.Day 3 was spent at Universal Studios which was absolutely fabulous. It is quite possible to do everything on offer within the opening hours but we arrived just a couple of hours late. The only negative comment was the long wait for the one shuttle bus to take us back down to the Metro.Day 4 saw us starting off with the walking tour of Paramount Studios, as the driven tour was full. Amanda our guide was great and the tour awesome. I enjoyed watching a movie on the plane on the return trip to NZ with new eyes! From there we jumped aboard the bus to Hollywood where we booked a Movie Star Homes Tour by LA City Tours which departed in about an hour. So we had enough time to grab some lunch, then climbed aboard the bus for a great two hour tour. Our driver/guide was great and we enjoyed the info and the sites (no one famous though!)Day 5 was back to Hollywood where visited the Hollywood Museum, something that wasn't on my list to do, but so pleased we did. What a hidden treasure. Our last use of the Go Card was Madame Tussards and this was fabulous. Incomparable to the wax museum at Fishermans Wharf in San Francisco that we has visited last year.So in summary we paid [$] each for our cards and they returned a $318 each value (more if the Queen Mary had of been open to the public as with the Kodak Theatre which was also closed due to refurbishment) We would recommend the Go Cards, but be prepared to swot up before you leave home!!
