Description

The Express Tour is a self paced downhill bike ride from Haleakala volcano to the beach. A van brings you to the start of your ride. From there ride through the mountain with numerous switchbacks, spectacular bicoastal ocean views, meadows.... to the 3,500 ft elevation where beautiful Upcountry Maui begins. From there continue your ride and find flower farms, places to stop and eat, a little cowboy town, Makawao with its unique art galleries, cafes, shops and more; all with the minimal effort of a 99% downhill route. Return the equipment and go for a swim in one of the many beautiful beaches or waterfalls and ponds of Maui 's north shore, just a few minutes away from our shop. Based on their commitment to safety values, Sunriders is 1 of only 2 vendors allowed access to the National Park! The only unguided tour company that will take you all the way to sealevel. No groups to follow, no pressure, no timetable. Stop and go as you please, for a real tour of Upcountry Maui.

Driving:

Drive towards Kahului, as if you were on your way to the airport (Hwy 380). At the intersection in front of Big K-Mart, turn right on Highway 36 (also known as (Hwy 360). Follow the signs to Paia Town, which is about 7 miles down the road. Once in Paia Town turn right at the traffic light on to Baldwin Avenue. Approximately 200 yards on your left side there is a public parking lot next to Paia Plaza Building, where the office is located. (We are behind the Moana Cafe).
