Big Bus Tours Miami regularly makes two loops: The City Loop, and The Beach Loop. Here’s a look at the highlights of each:

The City Loop

Coconut Grove is the oldest neighborhood in Miami, and is home to beautiful, palm-lined streets and traditional Florida-style residences.

Coral Gables is a separate neighborhood within Miami that is home to the University of Miami, and a wealth of popular shopping and dining spots.

Little Havana lets you get in touch with Florida’s Cuban heritage. This area is a prominent center of Latin culture, politics, and language in the region, and often is the site of parades and festivals celebrating Miami’s Latin roots.

Downtown Miami is the city’s hub, and the headquarters of many thriving businesses and international organizations. The skyline is the biggest in the state, and juxtaposes nicely with nearby beaches and natural features.

Millionaire’s Row is home to Miami’s rich and famous residents (of which there are surprisingly many), and is a great place to go star-gazing.

The Venetian Pool is a stunning manmade water feature in Coral Gables that looks like something from an Italian fairy tale. The pool was created in 1924 from a coral rock quarry, and now is home to gondolas, fountains, and a Venetian bridge.

The Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables is a National Historic Landmark that has a rich and interesting history (including alleged hauntings) and has been featured in many films and television shows.

Vizcaya Museum is also a National Historic Landmark and houses 2,000 years worth of art and artifacts, as well as an Italian Renaissance Garden.

The Beach Loop

Macarthur Causeway is a major thoroughfare connecting downtown Miami with South Beach and Miami Beach via Biscayne Bay. The road offers unparalleled views of the water and skyline.

Miami Beach is perhaps the city’s most-visited neighborhood and boasts world-class beaches, nightlife, shopping, dining, and outdoor activities.

Washington Avenue is one of South Beach’s most famous streets, and is THE place to go for nightlife in Miami. At night, the street becomes increasingly crowded and alive with party-goers and clubbers.

Collins Avenue is a street in Miami Beach that is lined with Art Deco hotels and residences, and is home to the famous Fontainebleau Hotel. This street is also nicknamed “Millionaire’s Row.”

The Uptown Loop takes visitors to top museums, art galleries, shopping, and historic sites at each of its four stops: Wyndwood, Midtown, Overtown, and Historic Downtown Miami.

Discover the best of what each area has to offer. Hop off at Wyndwood to check out the eclectic art district, browse through the outdoor shopping area and grab a bite to eat at a restaurant in Midtown, learn about Miami’s history as an African-American enclave at Overtown, and explore the cultural, financial, and commercial center of South Florida at the Historic Downtown Miami stop.

Getting In

You must pick up your tickets at Big Bus Miami Central Station. You will not be able to board without your tickets. Your Go Miami Card is not considered your ticket. The Central Station address is Stop #1, Bayfront Park, 301 Biscayne Blvd. FL 33132. The South Beach stop may move because of city regulations.

If you haven’t had a Cafecito (Cuban Coffee) in Little Havana, you haven’t experienced Miami. Stop #20 on our City Loop takes you to the heart of Little Havana - the Miami neighborhood - where Cuban immigrants migrated in the early 1960’s.

Our guided walking tour will give you a brief history of the Cuban people’s settlement of this area; how it’s changed over the years and world events brought on by the Cuban Revolution. You’ll see the Walk of Fame, Cuban Memorial Boulevard, Domino Park and Cuban Cigar rolling techniques and of course sample a Cafecito.

For walking tour departure times, please consult a Big Bus Representative.
