Explore 10,000 years of history as you wander through the museum's permanent exhibition, Tropical Dreams: A People's History of South Florida. Visit a re-creation of the National Historic Landmark, Miami Circle and view artifacts from this 2,000 year-old settlement. Walk through the homes of Seminole Indians and settlers in South Florida and climb aboard an actual 1920s trolley. The museum also offers two changing temporary exhibitions on South Florida and Caribbean history. Visitors are welcome to view historic images at the museum’s Research Center which houses over one million photographs, as well as drawings and documents.
