Description

Step into a lush, tropical jungle and mingle with birds, monkeys and some of the world's most rare and exotic creatures. Jungle Island is home to animal wonders like Hercules, a 900-pound liger and Peanut and Pumpkin, our extraordinary twin orangutans. Roam our lush, tropical jungle and discover cute and cuddly twin orangutans, kangaroos, lemurs and so much more.

Plus, you'll experience our sensational animal shows.  Marvel as the world's largest flighted bird soars right above your head. Gasp as a trainer dives into the water where alligators await. Sit a few feet away from the world's most rare tigers. Be in awe as the planet's most lethal bird swallows an entire apple in a single gulp. Our shows and presentations are as imaginative and wild as the animals on Jungle Island.

For hands-on activities, visit our Red Kangaroos, Petting Farm Animals, and vibrant birds.  

On weekends, experience Gator X-Treme, an intense animal presentation that brings man face-to-snout with live alligators in a thrilling encounter - both in the water and out. Then, visit friendlier waters on La Playa, Jungle Island's private beach.  Relax under a shady umbrella and enjoy a tropical drink while your kids enjoy our water slides and swim zone.

Driving:

South From I-95: I-395 E (MacArthur Causeway), turn right on Parrot Jungle Trail, the first exit after the bridge. Follow the road around and under the causeway to the parking garage on the left. From the East: I-395 W (MacArthur Causeway), turn right by the Miami Yacht Club, the first exit after Palm Island. Look for Parrot Jungle Trail and follow it to the parking garage on the right.
