Pick up your bike, enjoy an al-fresco breakfast along South Beach, take an invigorating ride along the main strip, then park your bike for some beach-time before grabbing lunch and doing some shopping in the swanky beachside boutiques. With a full-day bike rental, Miami is yours for exploring. Here are a few attractions you may wish to check out after picking up your ride and helmet:

South Beach: Perhaps the most famous neighborhood in Miami, this stretch borders Biscayne Bay and the Atlantic. First-time visitors to Miami may recognize the area quickly from reruns of Miami Vice and various films. Lined with a patchwork quilt of pastel Art Deco buildings, South Beach is a visual feast, and although all buildings and hotels are quintessentially Florida, no two are alike. You’ll also enjoy the people-watching, as South Beach is a haven for supermodels and A-listers. After years of criminal activity (think Scarface), South Beach is now one of the wealthiest areas in the city.

Bass Museum of Art: Located between 21st and 22nd Streets on Collins Avenue in Miami Beach, the Bass Museum provides the perfect venue for you to escape the sun for a few hours to soak up some culture. The Bass Museum opened its doors in 1963, and now houses more than 3,000 works of art from all over the world, spanning from the 15th century to present-day.

Holocaust Memorial: This Miami Beach landmark stands in commemoration of the six million Jewish victims of the Holocaust of World War II. Immediately recognizable by its macabre sculptures, the museum adequately captures the gruesome realities of Nazi brutality. The memorial was conceived by a group of Holocaust survivors in 1984, and officially opened in 1990.

Versace Mansion: Many will remember that this luxurious mansion was not only the home of Gianni Versace, but also the site of his murder in 1997, when he was gunned down on the front steps after returning from a morning walk.
