Located midway between downtown Miami and Miami Beach, the Miami Children's Museum is a fun-filled interactive environment with hundreds of things for kids to do. The museum is dedicated to enriching the lives of all children by fostering a love of learning and enabling children to realize their highest potential. Visitors of all ages are encouraged to play together, learn, imagine, and create.
All interactive and bilingual exhibits emphasize the arts, culture, community, and communication and include a supermarket, a bank, and TV studio; a 2-story sandcastle of dreams; a 30-foot rock climbing wall; an almost life-sized cruise ship; a new outdoor playground and more! In addition to all of the exhibits, the museum offers daily programs, seasonal classes and camps, learning materials, KidSmart (an educational gift shop), and a Subway restaurant for when you need to refuel.
